1. Who runs this site

This website is operated by Matteo Ianni, Italy, a private individual who is also the author and licensor of Briglia CLI and Briglia for Ubuntu Touch. Nothing is sold through this site: it documents software whose source is public on GitHub and links to its releases. Contact: iannimatte@gmail.com. 2. The website is provided as is

The documentation, guides and tools on this site are provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The content describes the software at a point in time and may be outdated or contain errors; the software's own output (briglia --help, briglia doctor) and its repositories prevail over this site where they differ. You use the information here at your own risk.

3. The software is governed by its licence

Briglia CLI and Briglia for Ubuntu Touch are not provided under these terms but under the Business Source License 1.1 shipped with every copy (briglia-cli, briglia-ut; summary on the License page). That licence includes a disclaimer of all warranties and governs your rights and the licensor's obligations regarding the software. Downloading anything from this site means you accept that licence.

4. What the software does on your machine — read this

Briglia is an autonomous agent. When installed and configured, it:

• executes shell commands and reads, writes, edits and deletes files under your user account, without asking for approval before each action — by design, so that it can work while you are away;
• sends your messages, attachments and the results of its actions to the third-party AI and web services you configure;
• can send messages and emails on your behalf, run scheduled scripts, install tools into your user directory, and update itself;
• incurs costs at your providers (model tokens, search queries, email, etc.) according to their pricing, which you alone control.

You decide whether to install it, on which machine, under which account, with which providers and keys, and how much to let it do. You are responsible for the consequences of what it does under your instructions and with your credentials, for keeping backups, and for complying with the terms of the services you connect. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and licensor is not liable for loss of data, costs incurred at third parties, or any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of the software or of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law applicable to you.

5. Third-party services

OpenCode, OpenRouter, OpenAI, Serper, Jina, AgentMail, Google, Telegram, GitHub, Vercel and the model vendors named in the documentation are independent services with their own terms and privacy policies. They are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, this project. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; their content is not under the operator's control.

6. Releases and updates

Software is distributed exclusively through GitHub Releases, signed with the keys published on the Security page. This site only links to those releases; it hosts no binaries. Availability of GitHub, Vercel or any provider is not guaranteed.

7. Privacy notice

• No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no accounts. This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
• Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel Inc. Like any web server, Vercel processes your IP address, user agent and the pages requested in short-lived server logs for delivery and security, acting as processor; see Vercel's privacy policy. The operator does not enrich, export or analyse these logs.
• The QR key generator (/qr) processes the keys you paste only inside your browser; nothing is transmitted, and the page makes no network request after loading. Clear the fields when you are done.
• The download page (/ubuntu-touch) fetches release metadata from GitHub on the server side; your browser only talks to this site and, if you click the download, to GitHub.
• The software stores its data on your own machine and sends it only to the providers you configure — see Storage & privacy. The operator receives nothing from it: no telemetry, no crash reports.
• Email. If you write to the contact address, your message is kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up.
• Your rights. Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification or erasure of personal data concerning you and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Write to the contact address above.

8. Changes and applicable law

These terms may be updated; the date at the top reflects the current version. They are governed by Italian law. Where you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
